Big Thunder Lake, Cass County (11-0062-00)

Big Thunder Lake is located in Cass County, seven miles south of Remer. The lake is 1,330 acres in size, including 226 acres of littoral zone. Big Thunder Lake reaches a maximum depth of 95 feet and supports populations of walleye, northern pike, black crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill and pumpkinseed sunfish. Big Thunder is occasionally stocked with walleye.
