Pine Mountain Lake, Cass County (ID 11-0411-00)

Pine Mountain Lake is located in west central Cass County, adjacent to the city of Backus. The lake is 1,567 acres in size and includes 737 acres of littoral zone, about half its area (47%). Pine Mountain Lake reaches a maximum depth of 80 feet.

Pine Mountain Lake supports populations of walleye, northern pike, black crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill and pumpkinseed sunfish. The lake is occasionally stocked with walleye. There is a fish consumption advisory for the Pine Mountain Lake which should be consulted before eating any fish from the lake.
