Rogers Lake, Crow Wing County (ID 18-0184)

Rogers Lake is located in northeast Crow Wing County, southeast of the city of Emily. The lake is 219 acres in size, which includes 83 acres of littoral area. Rogers Lake reaches a maximum depth of 64 feet and supports populations of walleye, northern pike, black crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill, and pumpkinseed sunfish.

Rogers Lake has been sporadically stocked with walleye over the years, recently including 1,577 fingerling in 2001. Roger Lake is part of a statewide MN DNR walleye research study to evaluate different stocking methods.

The lake has good water quality parameters, with excellent recreational ratings throughout most of the year. Water transparency is also excellent with average water transparency greater than 15 feet in depth.
